Built in 2016 from oak trees on Stephens and Catkins estate and overlooking the Bedingfeld’s sunlit lawns , the Oak and Stone Room is a stunning location which can be booked privately for parties of 10 or more and at no extra cost. With seating for up to 22 people, it is a wonderful place in which to enjoy special occasions, private parties , reunions and events.
A Private Dining Space
With a team of four chefs at the Bedingfeld Arms all diets are lovingly catered for, ranging from delicious meats home grown on Stephens and Catkins farm to local seafood’s from the Norfolk coast to gluton free, celiac, vegetarian and vegan dishes. If preferred, special menus can be also created for private booking’s by prior arrangement.
Perfect All Year Round
The Oak and stone room has underfloor heating through the old flagstone floor so is kept at a very comfortable temperature all year round and with large glass windows is wonderfully light during the day. The room has its own free wi-fi link and even its own sound system which is linked to Spotify on the Oak and Stone rooms private Ipad. If preferred this can be linked via Bluetooth to your own music instead. There is a large television available over the fireplace should this be needed. The television can also be linked directly to your own equipment if you wish to use the room for presentations or to display photographs etc.
A little bit of luxury
In the summer all the doors fold open out onto the garden terrace or slide wide open on the oak veranda and when this is done much larger private parties can be accommodated. With 10 en-suite bedrooms in the Bedingfeld, guests taking the private dining room can also stay overnight if reservations are made sufficiently in advance .
